Scope of Submissions
Focusing on cutting-edge energy and electric power technologies, Journal of Northeast Electric Power University centers on two major national strategic priorities: the development of new power systems and the low-carbon transition of energy. The journal publishes original and forward-looking academic research, covering core fields including power system analysis and control, large-scale development and utilization of clean energy, high-penetration power electronics technologies, intelligent dispatching and coordinated control, and energy information communication. As a vital academic exchange platform for the industry, the journal consistently advances theoretical and technological innovations to support energy structure optimization and green development.
Submission Methods
The journal operates an online manuscript submission system. To submit manuscripts, authors shall visit the official homepage of Journal of Northeast Electric Power University (https://xb.neepu.edu.cn/), click the button labeled "Author Submission & Manuscript Inquiry", or directly access the submission portal via https://xb.neepu.edu.cn/Journalx/authorLogOn.action to complete online submission following the specified instructions.
Upon receiving the manuscript, the Editorial Office will send an Acknowledgement of Receipt via email, which confirms successful submission. Authors shall check their mailboxes for this notification. An online inquiry system is available for authors, who may log into the website and enter their manuscript ID to check the review progress at any time after successful submission.
Guidelines for Submission
1.By publishing articles in this journal, authors consent to transfer worldwide rights of reproduction, distribution, information network communication, translation and compilation of the manuscript (in all language versions) to the Editorial Office of Journal of Northeast Electric Power University. The editorial office will pay a lump-sum remuneration covering copyright transfer fees to authors. All published full-text articles are indexed in databases including CNKI, Wanfang Data, CQVIP and Chaoxing. Submission to this journal constitutes authors’ consent to online publication, with relevant royalties incorporated into the lump-sum payment. Authors are required to sign a Copyright Transfer Agreement upon submission, and the template can be downloaded from the Download Center on the homepage.
2.The journal strictly prohibits simultaneous multiple submissions, repeated submission of identical content (including submissions of the same research in different languages), plagiarism and other academic misconduct. If any academic misconduct is detected, the manuscript will be rejected, the author’s affiliated institution will be notified, and no submissions from the involved author(s) will be accepted within one year.
3.Authors must provide valid phone numbers and email addresses during submission. If personal contact information changes, authors shall update it promptly on the journal website to ensure accurate delivery of remuneration and sample issues.
4.The listed affiliation shall be the institution where the research outcomes were completed, rather than the educational or employment institution at the time of submission. All institutional affiliations in the author list shall be the full registered legal entity names.
5.Submitting authors are required to submit email addresses and contact numbers of all co-authors, and guarantee that all authors are fully informed of the manuscript review progress. The corresponding author, who is responsible for manuscript revisions and all related editorial matters, shall be clearly designated at submission.
6.Review decisions will normally be notified to authors within 30 days. During the review process, manuscripts shall not be submitted to other journals; manuscripts previously submitted elsewhere must be withdrawn prior to processing by this journal. If no review feedback is received after the 30-day period, authors may contact the editorial office before submitting the manuscript to other publications. When contacting editors, authors must provide the manuscript ID, full name and contact information.
Manuscript Requirements
1.All manuscripts must be formatted strictly in accordance with the journal’s official template, which is available for download in the Download Center on the website homepage.
2.Manuscripts shall feature clear logical frameworks, prominent research highlights and rigorous argumentation. On the premise of fully presenting core research content, authors are advised to streamline wording, simplify introductions of well-established fundamental theories and methodologies, and emphasize innovative contributions. Figures, tables and formulas should be kept concise, with streamlined derivations and proofs.
3.References lay the foundation of academic research, and high-quality scientific papers shall include an adequate number of citations. Generally, accepted regular articles require no fewer than 20 references, including a certain proportion of high-quality domestic journal papers published within the latest 3 years. Review articles shall contain a minimum of 50 references.
