Recently, the China Academic Journal Evaluation Research Report (7th Edition), jointly launched by the China Institute of Science and Education Evaluation of Hangzhou Dianzi University, the China Scientific Evaluation Research Center of Wuhan University, Wuhan University Library, and China Science and Education Evaluation Network (www.nseac.com), was officially released. Journal of Northeast Electric Power University was accredited as an RCCSE China Core Academic Journal.
The China Academic Journal Evaluation Research Report (7th Edition) conducts identification and evaluation on 6,469 Chinese academic journals nationwide. Classified by disciplines, the journals are ranked and graded according to their comprehensive evaluation scores. Among these grades, Grade A+ represents authoritative journals, i.e., the top 5% of all journals; Grades A and A- represent core journals, corresponding to the top 5%–20% and 20%–30% of journals respectively. Journal of Northeast Electric Power University was selected as an A-Level China Core Academic Journal and ranked among the top journals in the discipline of Power and Electrical Engineering.
This accreditation as an RCCSE China Core Academic Journal marks another important achievement in the development of Journal of Northeast Electric Power University, following its inclusion in the High-Quality Sci-Tech Journal Classification Catalog in the Field of Energy and Power and the High-Quality Sci-Tech Journal Classification Catalog in the Field of Electrical Engineering in 2023. Taking this upgrade as an opportunity, the editorial office of the journal will continue to strengthen its connotation construction, strive to build a high-level journal in the field of energy and power, and contribute to the construction of the university into a distinctive, high-level application-oriented research university.
